They lived in marketplaces and venues with great performances and goods to sell. They sold things like silk and chicken and good performances for upper class and royalty.
What were people concerned about?
Their health, as disease was going around. The time was also known as the ‘Religious Wars’ as many of the rulers were changing the religion of England when they were in reign. They were also focused of the colonisation of the new world.

Several plagues were the most dreaded disease of Shakespeare's time. A series of plagues that took place during 1563-1603. The outbreaks in 1563 and 1603 were the most ferocious, each strike took out over one quarter of London's population.
